Since 1992 Darren collaborated exclusively on the ESSEN project with Paul DaCosta Robinson. 'CACTUS WATER' was the first release on a compilation album called 'PLANET LONDON' with TONGUE & GROOVE records.

They then released the 'CACTUS WATER' white label themselves, which proved to be popular in the emerging Trip-Hop markets. This culminated in live multi-media performances and the release on CLEAN UP RECORDS /ONE LITTLE INDIAN of the 12" single,'God & the Devil', an EP ' Supernatural' and the critically acclaimed album 'King Size Blues'. Written , programmed, produced and arranged by DARREN MOSS & PAUL DACOSTA ROBINSON.
